While teaching yoga retreats in Italy and Sardinia, I discovered Vanda Scaravelli’s approach, through her lineage.

And I enjoy a very physical approach to meditation, awakening body and freeing breath. I weave together yoga poses, breath awareness, meditation and deep relaxation.

All the explorations feel like an intelligent way to nourish the rhythms and needs of our bodies, with the support of the earth, in relationship with the play of the breath. We discover that stillness is a subtle, natural motion, a dance of upright balancing, and breathing waves keep the spine in constant motion.

I also teach Authentic Movement. As with Yoga and Meditation, this practice invites full, embodied awareness.
