While teaching yoga retreats in Italy and Sardinia, I discovered Vanda Scaravelli’s approach .
And I enjoy a very physical approach to meditation, awakening body and freeing breath. I weave together yoga poses, breath awareness, meditation and deep relaxation.
All the explorations feel like a way to nourish the rhythms and needs of our bodies, with the support of the earth, in relationship with the play of the breath. We discover that stillness is a subtle, natural motion, a dance of upright balancing, and breath keeps the spine in constant motion.
I also teach Authentic Movement. As with Yoga and Meditation, this practice invites full, embodied awareness.
